I so want my kids to say I was a health nut and raised them that way. Our garden and kitchen are the heartbeat of our family. Sounds like my husband. His favorite meal is a big juicy steak and a baked potato with the works! So I give him his steak I cook a big one and cut some off for me and I roast some butternut squash to simulate the potatoes a nice and a nice salad with a bunch of good veggies sprinkle some feta and pine nuts. But I feel you cause I'm NY Italian pasta pasta pasta!!

That's great you got your friend going with you! We are about to partner with a organic produce local company that delivers farm fresh in season produce and fresh eggs, grass fed beef and other quality meats at Central. We will let you know when that gets going. It's awesome I went to check out their farm and they have hens that roam around and eat the not usable veggies and the eggs are BRIGHT orange in the yolks.

Good job finding a replacement for your bread before dinner... once you find something that is appealing to you, it will be an easy switch. Taking out these little things over the course of a lifetime adds up to a lot. Keep it up!! I expect big things from you =)

Wow!! Garden!? That's impressive Olivia. Is Jess going to be sharing with you? I can't wait to see the pictures. I have to say, I tend to eat out way too much as well. It's become a problem since moving to Austin because everywhere is so good AND I love the feeling of eating out. This would be a good goal for me too... thanks for sharing it with us.
